Marking System:

Grading periods are a mid-term and term system with a trimester schedule and full comments are written on students four times a year at the close of the first mid-term in October and at the end of each term

Graduation Requirements:

The minimum graduation requirements for grades 9 through 12 are as follows:

  • English - 12 credits (4 years of English)
  • History - 10 credits (3 years of History including US History and 1 term of World Religion)
  • Science - 9 credits (3 years of Science with 2 being lab sciences)
  • Mathematics - 9 credits (3 years of Mathematics)
  • World Language - 6 credits (2 consecutive years of the same language)
  • Fine Arts - 3 credits Health - 1 credit
  • Electives - 10 credits
  • Physical Education - students must participate in after-school activities: 1 trimester must be an interscholastic athletic team
  • Community Service - each student is required to complete six hours of community service each year
