Marking System:

Students are graded on a 10 point scale. Throughout their time at MSA students are assigned a faculty advisor. A full time college placement coordinator is also available to assist in the application process and standardized testing tutoring.

Graduation Requirements:

Minimum graduation requirements for grades 9 through 12 are as follows:

  • History - 3 credits (U.S. History & Government)
  • Mathematics - 3 credits (Geometry & Algebra II)
  • Science - 3 credits (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)

Campus features

MSA's 1,600 acre campus has six academic buildings (including dormitories) and a number of faculty residences. The campus is wooded with open rolling hills and more than 15 miles (24 km of single-track hiking and biking trails, a lake for swimming and fishing as well as outdoor athletic space; complete with newly renovated gym and baseball field.
